Game updated with lobby chat and more....

Soldiers! As we do every week we've released a new version of the game (v0.41) today. The main addition are a lobby chat system, soldier labels and an improved strategic map. Here is a more extensive change log: We've implemented a lobby chat system. The lobby chat spans different regions and it is also accessible in the game at any time! The design is largely preliminary, we'll most likely be going for a somewhat more functional design that works better at lower resolutions sometime soon...

Regiments are go!

Attention, officers and soldiers! Our team is pushing hard while we start the end of our campaign! For this game update we have added Regiments to the game, the first major step towards all the community features we are excited about implementing. With this update you can now see your regiment in game and on the stats page! And to celebrate this we will be hosting a Regiment tournament this Sunday, March 15th, at 8pm GMT+1 / 3pm EDT. As the most cunning of you may have noticed, we will be...

Game update with a brand new map

As promised yesterday on Kickstarter, here is an update bringing in a brand new map. It's a smaller area that is well suited for 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 games. We have called it Village Centre. Also, we've just implemented the ability to pick up weapons, ammo and grenades from those unfortunate soldiers that gave their life on the battlefield. And here is the traditional list of tweaks and bug fixes: You will now see the action as soon as you join a game Fixed a couple of animation bugs "NaN" issue...

Game updated with a new classic map and a few improvements

You can get the demo here (Windows) or here (OSX) . You will have instantly recognized this map. It's still a work in progress, but we thought it was already loads of fun to play so we wanted to share it with you. You will notice it plays quite differently from Country War and Bataille a la Ferme, as this map is much more spacious. It'll probably require a bit more team play to pull off victory. So adjust your tactics accordingly! There are also a couple of fixes: Some minor bug fixes, in...

To infinity ... and beyond!

Soldiers! Another new year has come! And I can hear you thinking: "where is my game!" ;). Well, there is no official release yet unfortunately! But we have been very very busy setting up private alpha testing to get the first feedback on our current prototype. So we are progressing steadily and do have a working playable game already. But we still need to add more content to provide for the necessary variety in game play. I'll get back to that later as we will be needing you! But allow me to...
